The Pink list
Overview
This was an internship with a Non- Profit organization called The Pink List. The program aims to educate the community about breast cancer and assist families facing breast cancer. My task was to make the site more user-friendly and conduct user research to guide my design changes.
My Role: Lead UI Designer

Project Timeline: September 20th-October 20th, 2022
Tools Used: WIX and Webaim contrast checker
New Design
-Changed colors on the site to have a minimum color contrast of WCAG AA for accessibility
-Reorganized navigation menu and sub-menu
-All buttons are now functional
-Reorganized content to make the site easier to navigate
Problems with the Old Design
- Dark Background didn't align with the Organization's branding
-A total of 7 buttons did not work
-Navigation under the "find support" tab was confusing
-Contact form placement was ineffective
-Events under the event page were not easy to find. Requires user to take too many steps to locate
